To use triple very early on in a fight , junction cerberus to someone with the initiative ability, use cerberus right away. now you can use magic x3 the whole fight! Get back rare cards you lose. Sometmes you want to get cards such as Zell card or Laguna card,but you are afraid you will lose some players card or GF card to the person,and if you did not save,the card may be gone forever. Random rules are always(mostly) in those people which have good cards. But what if the card came out all lousy except for a good card,you defenitly lose the good card.And if the good card is VERY RARE then you may think you card is gone forever. Example: I played cards with Zell's mother. The random rule is in there. I got 4 lousy cards and a Seifer card. Zell's mother have all good cards,I of course lose the Seifer card. But no sweat! Just keep playing with her and keep winning her and soon she will have no choice but to use Seifer card.AND if you can win her,then you got back your Seifer card. And one more thing,around disk 2 or 3,try to change ALL your ENEMIES CARD,do not change the bosses or GFs or player card.This is a very good thing to do,because if you want to have easy wining in cards you MUST do this! Random may be a killer but you can make it look like a small fly.You see,when there are random rules,you don't have to be afraid.The cards will ether be boss card or Gf card or player card! Kinda cool huh! E-mail me for any questions. Another Shumi village side quest and other stuff After talking to the elder and getting the phoenix pinion you will see that scene where the attendant is ordered to work on Laguna's statue. Go to the shop and go to the statue if you see the attendant sulking in the corner your next sidequest has begun. Talk to him , then the elder who will instruct you to take the moomba guarding his house to talk to attendant. Follow the moomba and watch it talk to attendant. Attendant will help now. Talk to him and he will say that the work will be faster if they had artisan helping them. Go to artisan and talk to him(The house nearest to the shop). He will refuse so go to Fishermans horizon to meet the Artisans friend , the grease monkey found near where you fought the Galbadian soldiers. He will give you his moomba toy.Go back to Shumi village and see artisan again. This time he will agree after much convincing from the toy. Follow him to the shop and watch them work. Go see the elder and he will give you a Status Guard X 4. Its very important since Grashaboras card is so hard to obtain.Believe me it will help you later on. Want to be an efficient killer in disc one. Play cards. Win as many tonberry cards as you can and convert them into chefs knives. Convert these chefs knives into death by Sirens Life recovery magic. Junction it on anyone who has Status attack and see T-rexaurs disappear before your vey eyes with one blow. Its really cool. Want to find the Occult Magazine issues? Issue#1-In library shelf to the left. Don't change scenes where you see draw point for Esuna. Just go there and press on the shelf you can't miss it. Issue#2-Can be bought at Esthar bookshop or if Angelo search is performed on Bahamut. Issue#3-from master fisherman on FH. Before reaching the lift that carries you down to FH town proper you will see a ladder . Go down and look for master fisherman there sitting , still fishing. Talk to him and he will give you the issue. These magazines will be helpfu if you run out of money and you need to buy somthing , They can be worth as much as 25750g in any shop. Enjoy Card tips There are some ways to gets card much easily. Here are some: Seifer card: Fight Headmaster Cid in Garden bridge before you go down to FH. Angelo card: Fight Watts right away upmeeting h im in Timber. You can still fight him in the white seed ship later but using the difficult Centra rules. Rinoa card: Lose Ifrit card to Gen. Caraway in tentionally. He will play Rinoa's card on his deck often now and you have the chance of getting it. Win back your lost Ifrit card from Headmaster Martine who is in FH. Do not play in any place where there is a random rule unless very necessary like getting Laguna from Ellone on th lunar base and always remember to save before fighting in places that have the random rules. I hope this helps. Power to the masses Want to be powerful? Play cards. Go to Gf screen and prioritize learning the magic refines(eg.Ice/water magic) and Card mod from Quazecotyl. Since you'll be in Balamb go to the beach and fight the fishes with your GFs. You earn 6Ap per fight. If you get the card capability from Quazecotyl heres what you can do. Win lots of Abyssmal worms. Convert to Windmills and windmills convert by Thunder/wind magic. You have tornado. This tornado is like a mini-Ultima junction it anywhere from HP-J to Spr-J and you'd be stronger. In HP in can give you a life as high as 3000+ while being a level 10 character. Remember all those fishfins you won. Convert those too to Waters.Its an easy spell to gain and can help you tremendously anywhere you junction it.Depends on the character you want. Prioritize those Magic refines and see the results. No more fuss about drawing spells , that was boring , you get stronger by playing cards and have fun too.Experiment with all the cars you can convert with the refines you'll never know until you try. All you need to do is have Rinoa in your party and the guard at General Caraway's mansion will give it for free. How to get the lionheart in Disc one (For card lovers only) This is easy you just need a few stuff, first is Quezecotyl's card mod and Ammo refine from Ifrit. Since most of the stuff you need to be powerful is in the cards I suggest that you play it in Balamb like there's no tomorrow. You need 20 elnoyle cards for the 2 energy crystals.Convert with Card mod to crytals and then Ammo refine to Pulse ammo. The Minotaur card for the adamantine and since you can't get dragon fangs from cards , fight a t-rexaur a couple of times and he'll drop 6 Dragon fangs at a time. 2 more than what you need. Go to the nearest junkshop and Voila , the Lion heart in Disc 0ne. How to beat Diablos For me Diablos was a very hard Boss.It took me at least 20 tries to beat him because my levels were so high and so were his.But you can beat him very easily.All you have to do is blind him(because he has a physical attack that will kill you instantly).If you cant find any blind magic than youll have to wait to fight him until you do get blind.It is hard to blind him so my suggestion is to junction blind to your (hit) slot because it is easier to blind him that way. Beating Diablos Easily To beat Diablos easily, cast protect and shell on your characters and then use the Siren, Shiva and Queezacotl GF. TipS and Defeat also Cards TIpS From Gavin CheAH AGAIN 1. If your having difficulty beating odin just go to the options and turn the battle speed up, the battles should be faster but the timer will be the same. You can land ragnarok at FH so you can go to the garden and continue the CC contest. 2.When you want to level up quick just go to the island closest to heaven/hell and keep quistis in your party. Make sure Quistis' HP is low so she can use Blue Magic then when you get into a fight use DeGenerator and your opponent is dead in one shot. 3.First put the enemy in zombie than have someone use recover on that enemy, the enemy should die instantly. 4.Use element defense junction x4...... Junction 100 ultima, 100 full life, and 100 life and you will absorb EVERY element. 5.Go to the Cactus Island and attack those little cactus. They don't have much Experience to offer but the AP is great. 20AP per one cactus. The only catch is that they tend to run away, so junction yourself some speedy stuff. 6. Did you know that you can land your ragnarok at esthar airport, its the big cylindrical building and when you stop above it the text esthar airstation appears and pressing X makes you land. 7.Draw, draw, draw magics until your stock of magic is 100 for each magic. The more magic you have the more powerful the junction will be. 8.You can discard magic you dont want by going to the Magic Menu and selecting the magic you dont want and pressing the square button to discard that magic. 9.The Ragnarok has an autopilot. Open the large World Map and select your destination and press the X button. Press the X button again to confirm your destination 10.Consider keeping multiple saved games. There maybe a time when you want to return to a part in the game to get something you missed. 11.Some Save Points and Draw Points are hidden. You can see these hidden points by junctioning an active character with the Move-Find ability 12.Enemies level up as your characters level up. Their spell inventory will change as well 13.Talk to everyone and then talk to them again. Most people will have more than one thing to say. Never assume that someone has told you everything they have to tell. 14.With the Familiar Ability from GF Tonberry. You can buy all the Weapons Monthly Magazine, all the Combat King Magazine, and all the Pet Pals Magazine in Esthar shops 15.A character can carry 100 of a single spell and 32 different spells. 16.Limit Breaks: Make one of your characters HP brought to a critical level. During a battle keep skipping turns between your characters using the circle button until your critical character activates his limit break. After the limit break is done, do the same process of skipping turns to activate the limit break again. 17.Easy Victory: Junction 100 Death Spells to your Status-Attack and kill most enemies instantly. 18.Use Amnesia Greens to make a GF forget an ability if the GF ability Menu is full or a certain ability has lost its effect. For example: If the GF has ST-Def-Jx2 and ST-Def-J, theres no need to keep ST-Def-J. Becareful, some special abilities cant be brought back if you remove them. 19.Always double-check the game's decision when using the Auto Junction command. The game doesnt make any decision based on your surroundings. 20.First teach your GF the boost ability. When summoned, hold down the select button and press the square button repeatedly. Do not press the square button when the pointer shows X or youll have to start from 75 again. The maximun is 250. 21.Since the enemies stay the same level as you do, you can prevent them from getting strong by using the CARD command on the enemy during battle and change them into a card. That way you dont gain alot of experience and your characters wont level up too soon, and with a bonus of getting a card 22.Squall, Irvine, and Quistis have the best limit breaks. Make good use of Quistis Mighty Barrier, a very great advantage you cant find anywhere in the game. Irvines Armor Shot is the second best in the game next to Squalls Lionheart. Defeat Malboro If your lucky, Odin will kill this monster for you, but then most of us are not. First make sure Squall's Strength is high so you can kill the Malboro alot faster. Make sure you have the ability Sts Def-Jx4 on Squall. Junction the following magic spells to your Status Defense. 1 Pain 2 Sleep 3 Confuse 4 Break Make sure you have 100 each of these magic spells or it wont work all the time. When the Malboro hits you with the Bad Breath attack, Squall will only be inflicted with the Berserk status. You wont be able to control Squall but he will keep pounding the Malboro with his gunblade. Make sure you hit R1 when Squall hits the Malboro. You should come out victorious. Malboro Tip from Kriss Junction 100 x Berserk, 100 x Sleep and 100 x Confuse spells to Quistis' status defense. Before this, have Quistis on her Limit Break. When he casts Bad Breath on y'all, Quistis will be silenced and poisoned (and God knows else what!) but will still be eligble for attacking. You should now have the opportunity to cast Degenerator on Malboro and claim your Tentacles or crappy HypnoCrowns. Having Iniative and Alert also help. Malboro Tip from Micro I have thought up a lot easier way to get marlboro tenticels, all you need to do is have which ever character of yours usually strikes first have the mug ability, and theres a good chance that you will steal from it before the breath attack, then as soon as you steal, run.....and even if you cant run, but you manage to steal tenticles, wait for him to attack you once after the breath attack, then run and use remedy to heal yourself....i only had to fight 2 marlboros to get doomtrain Malboro Tip from Viva Yo Just junction initiative to the character that has Card Mod and use it with him. If it works youll win the tentacles plus the card, (and when you have enough you change them into another tentacle) but if it doesnt use any other strategy, try again or pray and die. Ruby Dragon Some people have a hard time defeating the Ruby Dragon but they are actually fairly easy. For this tip you must have Doomtrain. Just cast Doomtrain and the Ruby Dragon will be inflicted with the Slow Death status. Cast Protect on you party to lessen the Fire Breath damage from the Ruby Dragon. Dont attack the Ruby Dragon, just wait till the timer goes down to zero. Make sure you keep youself heald after taking some hits. Just sit and wait till the dragon dies. Ruby Dragon Tip from (no name given) Have someone cast cerebus, then cast protect on your whole party to resist his breath attack then cast meltdown on ruby dragon, then aura on squall, then renozuken ruby dragons butt off.(it takes about 2-4 renozukens to kill it). Adel Tip from Peter My way is simple, cast regen on rinoa (draw it), then just keep attacking adel consistently, if too little damage is done try spd +20 or 40%, or even darkside with regen. Holy heals him. Ultima Weapon Make sure your characters have Full-Life in their magic inventory cause Ultima Weapon has one hit kills and you wanna revive your characters to full health. Make sure you have plenty of Aura spells so you can activate your characters limit break. The good characters you can use are Squall, Irvine, and Quistis. Junction Auto-Haste, Auto-Shell, Initiative to your characters. When you go into battle the first thing you need to do is cast Cerberus to get the triple status on your party. Make sure your compatibility to Cerberus is high so he will come out right away. Next have one of you characters cast Meltdown on Ultima Weapon to lower its vitality so that your hits will take out more. Once Cerberus has been summoned, have one of your characters cast Aura on everyone and another character should cast Haste on everyone and another character should cast Shell on everyone. When you have the Aura status start using your limit breaks. Use Irvines Armor Shot and use Quistis Mighty Barrier to give you a great advantage. When you are low on HP, triple cast Curuga. When a character dies use Full-Life then use Cerberus or Triple to gain back the triple status. If you think you are about to loose and Ultima Weapon only has a few thousand HP use the Kamakazi for a last "desperation attack", it will take out about 30,000 to 60,000 HP. Also you might have at least one Hero item in your item inventory, if you do then use it. Hero makes a character invincible for a short period of time, but make sure you cast Aura first before you do the Hero item cause no magic will have effect on a Hero status. Good luck. Omega Weapon Preparations: Omega Weapon is probably the hardest enemy ever in the whole FF series. In order to beat him you need Hero items or Holy War items, its best if you have the Holy War instead. Hero makes one character invincible for a short period of time. Holy War makes the entire party invincible for a short period of time. To get Hero items you need to modify the Laguna card for 100 Hero. To get Holy War items you need to modify the Gilgamesh card for 10 Holy War. You need GF Bahamut, Cactuar, Eden, Cerberus. Junction each one of them to each one of your characters. Junction Auto-Haste, Auto-Shell, Auto-Protect, and Initiative to your characters. Set your battle speed to slow so you can buy yourself some time. Junction 100 Death Spells to your characters Sts Def-J. Make sure your compatibility with your GF is high. Use Squall, Irvine, and Zell. Battle When you go into battle the first thing Omega Weapon will do is cast LV?Death on you so you better have juntioned those Death spells or youre dead the first second of the battle. First cast Cerberus to gain the triple status, the character who has Initiative should do this, and another character cast Meltdown or Doomtrain to lower Omega Weapons vitality so that your hits take out more. Then have one of you characters cast Aura on everyone and another character cast Haste on everyone, and the last character should cast the Holy War. Make sure you dont cast Holy War first or the Aura and Haste wont work on your party. Then start using your Limit Breaks. For Irvine use his Armor Shot Limit Break. Keep using your limit break until the Aura status wears off then start using your GF, Cactuar, Eden, and Bahamut, these 3 are the only effective GF against Omega Weapon. When the Holr War wears off have one of your characters cast Aura on everyone then use the Holy War again. If you are in need of some healing, triple cast Curuga. If one of your party dies use Full-Life to revive that character to full health then use Cerberus again or Triple to gain the triple status then cast Haste. Good Luck !!! CARDS A great card game tip: Make sure you DO NOT spread the RANDOM RULE or will you have the hardest times winning a card game. When you talk to a person and challenge them , they will say something about combining rules, just keep saying NO until the person suggest a game without rule combinations. Even though you have the card ability, and you change everything on earth into cards, you still cant win cuz the cards around balamb suck? Dont start playing cards until you have Ifrit, Sacred, and Minotar. You should have those cards cause with only ifrit you are gonna lose him and whine to your mommy. Then proceed with your mad card skills and play and play and play and play and play and play and play until you have alot of cards. then use CARD MOD and change evrything into items. (espially the gespers cuz they are bad cards but refine into a black hole.) Guide to Defeat Omega Weapon This is a guide to beat that oh so hard, monster from heak, Omega Weapon. In this guide I will give, requirements, suggested party, and order of Omega's moves.I will also tell where to get the required items. Omega's Death Here are suggestions and requirements: LionHeart (weapon and limit break, suggested) At least 50 pulse ammo (Required) Recover Command (Required) Revive Command (Required) Defend Command (Essential) Exeter (Irvine's Ultimate Weapon, Required Entire party at 9999 HP (required) Str at 255 everyone (suggested, makes the battle a lot easier) All seals released (required) 100 death on everyone's status defense (required) Ok are you ready? Omega will use these attacks in this order: 1.LV.5 Death 2. Meteor 3.Megido Flame(9998 damage to all) 4. Gravija(3/4 damage to all. 5. Terra Break ( Omega Weapon's deadly limit break) 6. Ultima 7. Meteor 8. Light Pillar (9999 damage to one) 9. Omega repeats all above steps. Suggested Party Squall Leonhart: Chosen because of Lion Heart (a.k.a. End of Heart) limit break. Equip with magic, auto-protect, auto-haste, Defend and GF abilites. Irvine Kinneas: Chosen because of Fast and Pulse Ammos used in limit break. Equip with auto-protect, magic, Recover, and GF abilites. Quistis Trepe: Chosen because of Mighty Guard limit break. Equip with Revive, auto-haste, magic, and GF commands. When the battle starts Omega will use Lv. 5 Death. cast Aura on everyone. Have Quistis use Mighty Guard, have Irvine use Fast Bullets until they finish, and Squall use Renzokoken. After Lv. 5 death Omega will cast Meteor. Have Quistis cast MightyGuard again, Irvine pound him with Pulse Ammo, and Squall hit him with a few Renzokoken(hope for a Lion Heart finishing blow, 200,000 damage plus 50,000 from Renzokoken!) You might want to cast Meltdown on Omega, it will make Irvine and Squall much more leathal. After Meteor, Omega will cast Megido Flame (9998 damage to all) so make sure you are at full health. Don't bother to heal every one since his next attack, Gravija, will do nothing to you because you are already at 1 HP. Continue pounding Omega with limit breaks, have Quistis use Mighty Guard around twice. After hitting him with a few limit breaksheal everyone. Have Squall use the Defend command, And Irvine and Quistis summon GFs with high HP. Omega will now use Terra Break, this deadly move is about 5-8 physical hits, which do 2000-4000 damage per hit. You survive this because if you used Defend Squall will take no damage. Quistis and Irvine should have protect on them from Mighty Guard, the GFs will take the punishment for them. After this attack Aura is probably worn off so cast it again on everyone. Then pound him with the same limit breaks. Omega decides to hit you with the 2nd strongest spell in the game. Ultima. You should survive since you should be still at around full health. After Ultima, pummel him with limit breaks as usual, but beware he will now cast Meteor. Following this, he will cast Light Pillar, so revive who ever gets hit it by it quickly. After Light Pillar, he will repeat all his attacks over. After the second Terra Break in the battle, you should be able to finish him. And remember, always use your limit breaks between Omega's attacks! Where to find Requirements and suggestions Lion Heart Adamantine - Change Minotaur card into item Dragon Fang - From Blue Dragon w/RARE ITEM ability receive as a battle prize or w/LVL DOWN ability from Tonberry Level him down between 1-10 and receive it as a battle prize Pulse Ammo - w/RARE ITEM ability receive Energy Crystal and then change it to a 12 Pulse Ammo, Exeter Dino Bone - From T-Rexaur/ Change card into an item, Mug or receive as a battle prize Moon Stone - w/Rare Item ability From Imp receive as a battle prize or mug Star Fragment - w/Rare Item ability From Hexadragon receive as battle prize or MUG Iron Giant Screw - From Geezard receive as a battle prize change card into an item Recover Command Draw GF Leviathan from Norg in second disc. Learn Recover from him. Revive Command Draw Alexander from Edea at the end of Disc 2. Learn Revive from him. Defend Command Defeat GF Cactuar, or Brothers. Learn Defend from them. Easy Ultimitia Battle You need the Gilgamesh card. Card Mod it for 10 Holy Wars. I prefer to have Squall LV 100 Zell LV100 and Selphia LV 100 on my team. Make sure ech member has 100 Auras and 10 Triples. Have all the limits and Ultimate Weapons. Now fight her and use the basic strategy for her first form. For Griver and her other forms, use this strategy. 1. Use Squall and cast Triple on Selphia. 2. With Selphia cast Aura on all your of gays. 3. With Zell use a Holy War. Do it in the order I told you or it won't work. Every time your Aura and Holy War fade away, do steps 2 and 3 Easy way to defeat Ultima Weapon First make sure you have at least 10 auras. And when fighting Ozma, you should start the fight by using Quinas Mighty Guard to improve defense. Attack with Zidanes Solution 9 and with Freyas Dragons crest. Vivi should cast Flare and sometimes be in hold to revive a fallen caracter. And when Ozma uses the dreaded Curse spell, be fast with Quina to cast Angels snack to remove mini. If Quina should habe nothing to do, use the spell Frog drop. And if Zidanes Trance should weare of, use his skill Thievery. Repeat these attacks and remember to revive, you will soon kill Ozma. Ive heard that he only has about 55000 in Hp. I wont soil the fun knowing what you will receive defeating him. That I will send in soon =)...
